“Don’t cry, Momma, we’ll get your pies back,” Mousey said in a comforting voice.

“Listen, Momma, I have an idea.” Mousey knew where Billy would hide the pies. Momma loved Mousey’s plan so she proceeded to bake two more pies, only this time, she filled them with garlic and onions.

Orville, Whirly, and Mousey planned the switch. Mousey quietly climbed up the tree to Billy’s tree house carrying a rope attached to a net.

When he reached the top, sure enough, there were the pies. Mousey placed the pies in the net and put the new pies in the same spot where he had found the others. He scurried down the tree, and the three of them happily rushed home with Momma’s sweet raspberry pies.
